Single residence
Location: Nea Makri, Attica, Greece
Construction: 2002
The residence was inspired by the international minimalistic style. The building was created out of simple volumes and horizontal planes. The heart of the residence has been made of stone embraced by concrete volumes.
Large volumetric forms draw attention to the front façade where the main entrance is. The volumetric forms fade out at the back façade where the swimming pool is located, forming balconies and allowing the horizontal planes to blend in with the horizontal lines of the pool.
Upon entering the main entrance, both the garden and the pool can be seen. The house consists of a main ground floor, a private space on the first floor and a basement.
