Private Residences
Location: Themistokleous Str, Kifissia, Attica, Greece
Construction: 2006
The key element of these houses is their affinity between the internal and external open and enclosed spaces.
Enlarged underground open courtyards have been designed to create lighting and communication of the underground spaces with the main garden.
A floating bridge overhanging from the enlarged open underground courtyard, made of metal and wood, leads the visitor to the main entrance of the first residence,.
The interior is an open space with minimal touches of wood, marble and glass. The parapets of the internal wooden staircases have been designed with reinforced glass to give the impression that the stairs are hovering above.
